AEC provides specialist ear and hearing health services for those in need of help. The medical work often revolves around ear infections, not least in children. The team meets international standards, treating disease using appropriate examination and therapeutic techniques. For those without infection but unable to hear well, the clinics offer a range of diagnostic services from basic hearing tests to specialized ones such as those needed for infants. AEC provides a comprehensive range of hearing aids for its patients’ needs. It has a fully equipped ear mould laboratory and hearing aid repair service at each site.
The funds will be used to purchase a system to diagnose and provide a quality specialist service for patients with vertigo. It includes a set of Vesticam 2 infra-red video googles with a monocular IR camera, laptop, vibrational massager for treatment, a vestibular headband, and teaching aid for clinicians and patients. This project is new as the technology is currently unavailable in Cambodia.
