Light of Mercy home was founded in 1997 as a center for children who are deaf, blind or disadvantage. The centre was called Light of Mercy Home with the idea that the center would give light to the children who are in the darkness because of their disabilities and impairments and become a home which has an atmosphere full of mercy and loving compassion. During the day they go to school, and during the evening and the weekend they stay at the center, where they enjoy a community life.
WIG's grant provides funding for the children's transportation to and from school.
