The Maryknoll Deaf Development Program (DDP) is a US-based Catholic Mission organization working alongside Cambodian deaf people and their families to assist them to integrate into society by providing sign language class, education & job training courses, community development activities, and Cambodian sign language interpreting services.
WIG's funding is to support the education and job skill development programs for deaf students 16 years of age or older.  The basic education project offers a two year program of non-form education that teaches sign language, basic Khmer literacy, math, and life skills.  The job training project provides training opportunities such as sewing, cooking, barbering & hair dressing, etc.
