Welcome to Women's International Group - Cambodia
We are an active group who bring a diversity of resources and experiences together for social, cultural and educational enhancement. We raise funds and donate these via grants to worthy community projects in Cambodia.
Our group is also very much about socialising and having fun. Throughout the year we organise numerous activities and events that any member can join in with.
We welcome new members and look forward to sharing our knowledge, ideas and events with you!
We also appreciate volunteers and those who can help with our annual Christmas Fair. We are currently seeking sponsorship and raffle prize donations, and we would love to hear from you!
To find out more about us please visit our Facebook group at Women's International Group (WIG) Phnom Penh.
If you are interested in joining please visit the Join Us page on this website.
Our Social Calendar is emailed to all WIG members, and updated regularly on our WIG Facebook page.
Our regular activities include tennis, mahjong, handicrafts. We also have monthly luncheons, cycling, yoga and more.
We meet every Thursday for our Chatterbox coffee catch-up, so come along and find out more, or send us an email!
The Best Things
One of the best things about belonging to WIG is when we get to hand over a cheque to wonderful organisations like the Cambodian Organization for Living and Temporary Care (COLT) - who will use the money to build a Septic Tank at their center. Well done COLT - pictured here Ally presents a $2000 check to Noah and Aga, and they presented this fabulous picture to WIG - drawn by the children at COLT
Christmas Fair 2019
We are busily preparing for our annual and highly anticipated Christmas Fair.
This year, it will be held on Sunday 24 November 2019, 9am-5pm at Canadian International School on Koh Pich (Diamond Island)
We are looking for corporate sponsors to help support us.
To find out more about our Christmas Fair, please contact the WIG President on email@example.com or come and talk to our members at our weekly Chatterbox sessions held upstairs at Java Cafe every Thursday from 9.30am - 11am.
